1. Construction has resumed at the site and the deficiencies with the piles are being addressed through further testing to identify the necessary corrective action.

2. The Department of Design and Construction will become the manager of the project with the Department of Parks remaining as DDC’s client.
3. SITRAC has been involved from the project’s initial stages through the development of construction documents. Our inclusion of an six lane hydraulically operated 200 meter banked track makes the facility a world class venue for holding indoor track meets.
4. Public access to the facility, in the form of an exercise room for the public and the opening of the track was insisted on by the Department of Parks and was a key component in getting the City to approve the project.
5. As often happens with large publically funded projects some of the items originally included in the concept are moved to the outer years in the budget. Such was the case with the soccer fields and baseball fields.
