SITRAC meet with the College of Staten Island Athletic Dept. on Thurs. Nov. 3rd in an effort to network and develop support for the Ocean Breeze Indoor Track & Field facility.
 
CSI Director of Athletics and Recreation Vernon Mummert and Associate Athletic Director and Sports Information Director David Pizzuto were present along with head Cross Coluntry Coach Robert Russo-Vikos.
 
Interim Director of Track & Field Bob Orazem discussed the role this facility can play in CSI's bid to develop and expand their Track & Field programs. Orazem said "With dorms currently under construction on the campus this track facility will help to lure young athletes into the college"
 
Mummert stated "This is a great project that CSI wants to be involved in right from the first day"
 
Additional meeting are being planned with CSI President Dr. Tomas D. Morales.
