Lettieri Selected to SI Hall of Fame Board
Former SITRAC President Lorraine Lettieri was selected to be on the board of the Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame. Her responsibilities will be to help select inductees into this hall.
"I am truly honored to be elected to the Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame committee and board" said Lettieri
Lettieri was President of SITRAC from 2007-2010 . "Lettieri was instrumental in the development of SITRAC as a non-profit community organization" said Bob Orazem, interim Director of Track & Field. "She is a great selection. I have always felt that Track & Field and Running was unrepresented in their organization. The running community will now have an advocate on the board of this organization"
This years inductees will go into the Hall of Fame on Sat. Jan. 28th at noon at their Mt. Loretta location.
